A elaboração de um testamento permite-lhe assumir o controlo do seu património e garantir que, após a sua morte, os seus bens sejam transmitidos de acordo com a sua vontade. Permite-lhe também escolher pessoas em quem confia para administrar os seus bens e nomear tutores para os filhos menores.

Testamentos can incorporate trusts to take effect after your death. Trusts may be needed to protect the interests of minor and vulnerable beneficiaries, to provide more flexibility as to how your estate is distributed, and to allow a partner to continue living at your home during your lifetime whilst ensuring that this vontade ultimately pass in accordance with your wishes.
