Dipika Mistry

Dipika is a Licensed Conveyancer/Technical Compliance Conveyancer in residential property. She assists fee earners with file sign-offs and any complex enquiries, and helps them progress their files to exchange.

She has over 20 years of experience in residential property and went into conveyancing as soon as she finished university. She qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2022. As well as English, she is fluent in Gujarati and holds a GCSE in the language.

Outside of work, she is a mum to two girls. She likes to try to keep fit when she can and enjoys Reformer Pilates. She loves to clean and can get a bit crazy and overboard once she starts! She also loves a good box set and still enjoys watching EastEnders!

Previous Experience

• As part of a New Build Purchase, we were unable to get hold of the bottom of the chain to initiate the exchange. Had to resort to contacting one of the partners on LinkedIn as no one was replying to our calls or messages, and our client was at risk of losing the property. They had given notice on their rental, so could’ve potentially been homeless.
• No clause within the rent charge deed excluding S121 of LPA 1925. The lender wants a Deed of Variation, and the other side was refusing. The fee earner kept going back and forth, and I had to step in and speak to the other side and explain the necessity of the deed. The other side was an old-school solicitor and very stubborn.
