Bare Trusts for Minors
Bare trusts are a way to make outright gifts of assets to minor beneficiaries without the need to pass the legal title which cannot be registered in the name of a minor. The beneficiary would have the immediate entitlement to the capital and income of the trust fund and the right to have the assets transferred into his or her name on reaching 18.
