Katinka Beamish

Katinka studied the Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC with a Masters in Business, Management, and Law gaining a distinction in 2018.

Katinka qualified as a solicitor in September 2020 and joined the Litigation Team at RFB Legal in the West End office in 2021 and now works as an Associate Solicitor. Katinka specialises in both commercial and property litigation.

Coming from an entrepreneurial background and obtaining a BSc in Business and Management, Katinka has quickly developed a strong understanding of the intricacies involved in successfully running commercial litigation cases. Katinka regularly acts for both companies and individuals in a variety of disputes including director and shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions, and high-value debt recovery. Katinka has growing expertise in acting in contractual disputes, particularly matters with an element of fraud.

In property litigation, Katinka regularly acts in commercial landlord & tenant disputes and has a growing specialism acting for both freeholders and leaseholders in respect of request for consent clauses.   

Katinka prides herself on being commercially aware often achieving a settlement for clients; understanding clients’ objectives, and delivering a personal and efficient service.

When Katinka is not in the office, she can be found renovating her first home or trying to get a personal best on the Peloton bike.

• Successfully settling a high-value contractual dispute, with an element of fraud, on behalf of a commercial client against a national energy supplier.
• Acting for a high-profile international couple in defending numerous Account Freezing Order applications and reaching an out of court settlement.
• Bringing a high-value section 994 unfair prejudice petition resulting in a favourable settlement for the client.
• Successfully representing a commercial landlord in opposing the renewal of a business tenancy under section 30(1)(f) Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 against a leading retailer.
