Harry Medway

Harry is an Associate in the firms Litigation team and specialises in Property and Commercial Litigation. Harry acts for and advises a wide range of clients from individuals and business, landlords and tenants, asset managers and investors; all with equal competency and enjoyment, in both the County Court and High Courts.

Always keen to provide commercially focused advice, combining strong technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, Harry is listed as a Key Lawyer in the Property Litigation sector by Legal 500 2027 and therein quoted as:

“always friendly, approachable, and easy to reach, keeping us informed at every stage and responding promptly whenever needed”.

Harry has particular experience in 1954 Act work involving both opposed and unopposed lease renewals in difficult and highly contentious circumstances. Harry also has broad experience in other aspects of property litigation including possession claims (residential and commercial), forfeiture, rent arrears claims and service charge disputes, dilapidations claims, breach of covenants disputes, trespass and nuisance disputes, Party Wall Act matters, Assets of Community Value, boundary disputes, misrepresentation claims and rectification claims.

Maintaining a broad practice, Harry also acts and advises on other commercial disputes including high value debt claims and contractual disputes, civil fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, professional negligence claims and freezing injunctions. Harry also has experience in Insolvency work, including acting and advising on winding up petitions of companies (including offshore companies), as well as personal bankruptcy petitions, as well as experience in probate disputes and claims under the Inheritance Act (Provision for Family and Dependants) 1975.

In his spare time, Harry enjoys all things sport. Football, Golf, Tennis, Padel, Cricket, Skiing… He’ll play it (often badly) and watch it.
