Emily is an Associate Solicitor in the firm’s Private Client team based at their City office. Emily qualified in April 2024 having trained in both the Conveyancing and Private Client departments.
Experience
Emily specialises in a variety of Private Client work including:
- Preparation of Wills, codicils and Letters of Wishes;
- Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) for both Property & Financial Affairs, and Health & Welfare;
- Drafting Declarations of Trusts to protect beneficial interests in property;
- Handling all aspects of the UK probate process and estate administration;
- Assisting with post-death variations;
- Providing advice on Trusts (including 18-25 and vulnerable beneficiary trusts).
Emily also assists with property matters to include assents, probate sales, transfers of equity, mortgage redemptions, loan agreements and general freehold/leasehold purchases and sales.
Education
Prior to joining Ronald Fletcher Baker, Emily studied at King’s College London reading Classical Studies before completing the MA Law and LPC LLM at the University of Law.
