Lauren-Nevada Chao

Lauren is a Paralegal at Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP, based in the firm’s Exeter office. She joined the firm in February 2026 and has developed practical experience in residential and commercial conveyancing, assisting with a range of property transactions and building a strong understanding of the legal considerations involved in the process.

Lauren studies Computer Science at the University of Exeter, which has given her a naturally analytical approach to problem-solving. She particularly enjoys work that requires attention to detail, logical thinking and the ability to work through complex issues to find practical solutions. Her interest in law has grown from this combination of analytical work and the opportunity to apply it to matters which have a tangible impact on clients.

She has a particular interest in the relationship between law and technology and the ways in which developments in technology are changing in the legal profession. Lauren is also interested in the wider aspects of property law and enjoys gaining an understanding of the different considerations that shape a transaction beyond the legal work itself.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys baking. She also enjoys ethical hacking and spending time paddle boarding with her partner.
