Ryan is an Associate Solicitor with almost 10 years’ experience in Litigation, dealing with a wide range of disputes including business‑to‑business matters, debt recovery, contractual issues, and property‑related disputes in the firm’s Exeter office. He believes that having a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules is paramount to achieving the best outcomes through litigation. His client‑focused, proactive, and strategic approach helps clients secure the best possible results while minimising exposure to significant Litigation costs. Ryan strongly believes that communication, delivered with empathy and understanding, can go a long way in resolving disputes.
Outside of his legal work, Ryan is an advocate and ambassador for improving social mobility, equality, diversity, and inclusion. He is proud to be a neurodivergent lawyer and actively writes on LinkedIn to promote the inclusion of neurodivergent people in the workplace, while encouraging aspiring lawyers to progress in their legal careers. Ryan is also a passionate basketball fan and previously played for his university team.
