Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our growing IT Team. The Junior IT Support Technician will work closely with the IT Team to maintain and support all fee earners globally. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing prompt and effective technical support for a range of IT issues. Primarily based in the London office, the IT Support Technician will be required to travel to existing offices throughout England and assist onsite in their areas as needed.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

  • Provide first-line technical support:
  • Diagnose und Behebung von Hardwareproblemen (Desktops, Laptops, Drucker, Peripheriegeräte).
  • Behebung von Softwareproblemen (Microsoft Office Suite, Betriebssysteme, gängige Anwendungen).
  • Behebung von Netzwerkverbindungsproblemen (Wi-Fi, DNS, LAN).
  • Basic Azure AD administration (password and multi factor resets)
  • Unterstützung bei der Betreuung von Mobilgeräten (iOS und Android).
  • Maintain and update IT documentation: Maintain and update internal knowledge base with troubleshooting steps and solutions.
  • Assist with IT projects: Participate in IT projects as required (e.g., hardware upgrades, software deployments).
  • General administrative support: ensuring the office is appropriately organised, general assistance.
  • Bereitstellung technischer Schulungen: Durchführung von technischen Schulungen zu unserem System für neue Mitarbeiter und andere Angestellte, falls erforderlich.
  • Desktop support: Image and deploy new workstations, provide remote support to users.

Requirements:

  • This is a Junior position, and would suit a candidate with less than 2 years of experience in an IT Support role.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (Switches, Routers, IPs, VPN).
  • Experience with common software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, web browsers).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
