Adam is an associate specialising in family law, based in the firm's City Office.
Prior to qualification in 2017 Adam completed his academic studies at the University of Essex, undertaking a Law degree and an LLM in Information Technology, Media and e-Commerce Law before completing his LPC at BPP in Holborn, Central London.
Adam has specialised in family law since qualification and previously worked for 2 years post-qualification at a Central London based firm before moving to Ronald Fletcher Baker in 2019.
He undertakes all areas of the family spectrum from national and international clients and has received instructions from low, medium and high net worth clients with various financial assets.
Adam has acted for parents and grandparents in respect of children to include straightforward Child Arrangements Orders, to Prohibited Steps Applications and Specific issues, such as schooling and relocation including Leave to Remove and Schedule 1 Applications.
He holds a keen interest in nuptial agreements and the ongoing development of the governance of such agreements within UK courts upon divorce.
Adam understands the sensitive nature of family matters and advises on extremely delicate matters such as domestic violence, whether it be physical, mental and/or emotional abuse, and injunctions, specifically Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
Examples of Adam’s work include:
- Acting for an Intervenor in respect of intricate financial issues upon divorce between her brother-in-law and his wife;
- Making a successful leave to remove application for a child from the jurisdiction to a non-convention country;
- Representing an extremely wealthy businessman with regards to a financial settlement upon divorce that included national and international business and trusts;
- Successfully acting for a father who sought contact with his son with severe disabilities and learning difficulties and successfully defending allegations of abuse made by the mother.
