Vermogende particulieren kunnen besluiten hun vermogen onder te brengen in een offshore-trust. Deze trust wordt beheerd door trustees die geen fiscale ingezetenen van het Verenigd Koninkrijk zijn, en is vrijgesteld van Britse inkomstenbelasting over de buitenlandse inkomsten.
