Si usted, o alguien a quien representa, fue cliente de la Oficina del Defensor P\u00fablico (OPG) y pag\u00f3 tasas relacionadas con una tutela entre el 1 de abril de 2008 y el 31 de marzo de 2015, podr\u00eda tener derecho a un reembolso. El Ministerio de Justicia (MOJ) fija las tasas de tutela de la OPG. Una revisi\u00f3n del MOJ revel\u00f3 que las tasas no siempre se correspond\u00edan con el coste que supuso para la OPG la supervisi\u00f3n de las tutelas entre abril de 2008 y marzo de 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hemos mejorado la forma en que prestamos apoyo y supervisamos las curatelas, y seguimos revisando nuestras tarifas. Desde el 1 de abril de 2015, no se ha cobrado de m\u00e1s a los clientes. El Ministerio de Justicia ha establecido ahora un programa de reembolso para que puedan recuperar el dinero aquellas personas a las que se les cobraron tarifas m\u00e1s elevadas de lo necesario. El programa estar\u00e1 gestionado por OPG y no se aplica a las tarifas pagadas a OPG Escocia, a la Oficina de Cuidado y Protecci\u00f3n de Irlanda del Norte ni al Tribunal de Protecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cliente actual<\/strong>&nbsp;OPG se pondr\u00e1 en contacto con los agentes actuales que tengan clientes que cumplan los requisitos, y a dichos clientes se les reembolsar\u00e1 el importe autom\u00e1ticamente.
